Fort Hill Company Announces Strategic Partnership with BST Behavioral Science Technology, Inc., a global leader in safety performance solutions, and Fort Hill Company, a leading provider of tools and technology for increasing and documenting the business impact of training, today announced a new strategic partnership. BST will use a customized version of Fort Hill's Friday5s® training follow-through system, branded as bstfeedbackengine.com, in many of BST's coaching and safety change initiatives. "We're very proud to partner with the premier safety change leadership organization in the world to make follow-through a core part of their safety solutions," said Andy Jefferson, president of Fort Hill Company. "Our research shows that a manager's involvement with his or her employees is the single most important determinant of whether learning will be applied, back on the job. BST emphasizes the critical role of leaders and managers in creating an injury-free culture. Our technology makes it easy for managers to discuss goals with their direct reports and to give them on-going encouragement, coaching, and feedback." "We are very enthused about our partnership with Fort Hill Company," said Kristen Bell, BST Vice President, Research, Product & Service Development. "Using Fort Hill Company's learning transfer system, powered by leading edge technology, will be integral to our process of leadership coaching. This alliance gives BST even greater capacity to help our clients develop safety leaders at all levels who can drive employee commitment, confidence and capability to achieve 'best in class' safety performance." Upcoming Events Schedule Cal Wick, Andy Jefferson, and Roy Pollock, co-authors of The Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning, are increasingly in demand as speakers. Their message of how to create and document greater value from training and development is especially timely and important as the economy slows. You'll be able to hear them at the following events:
Friday5s Named Top Training Product Friday5s®, Fort Hill's breakthrough follow-through management tool was recently named one of the top training products for 2007 by Training Media Review.Founded in 1993, Training Media Review provides independent reviews of corporate learning products and services. "Any organization wanting to get the most out of employee professional development programs should use Friday5s. Its leading purpose is to aid the translation of learning into enhanced job performance." |
Work-Learning Research, Inc., named Cal Wick the recipient of the first-ever Neon Elephant Award. According to Work-Learning Research President, Will Thalheimer, "The Neon Elephant Award is awarded to a person, team, or organization exemplifying enlightenment, integrity, and innovation in the field of workplace learning and performance." "Cal Wick embodies the values of the Neon Elephant Award. In 1999, he founded the Fort Hill Company because of his frustration with the way typical management-training programs produced virtually no impact when the learners returned to their jobs. Cal’s answer to this problem was the development of Friday5s—an e-learning platform that enables training results to be channeled to on-the-job implementation. " By tracking learners’ progress toward goals and connecting the learners’ managers and learning administrators to the progress of implementation, Friday5s enables a revolution in how we think about training. No longer is training about information. No longer is it an event. With an online training-follow-through platform, implementation can become part of the training contract." |
